Shapes and colors are definitely strong here. I get a real sense of “city” from this image. It seems to come out of the pillar. It’s the sort of design that’s very Chicago, especially against the skyscraper background. You’d never put a symbol like that on a Santa Barbara building.
Damn it, now I just want to visit Chicago again. :)
